The argument was about the ethnicity of the white population. I know Toronto has more non-whites.

I just know Chicago is notorious for having lots of Poles.....why anyone is denying this is ridiculous to me. It's hard to find the facts though, for either city.

a. I said IN CITY LIMITS right in my post. But the suburbs are even less foreign born than Chicago city limits. Chicago has very few immigrants.

b. The numbers you gave are not a breakdown of country of birth, race, or of nationality. They are of primary language spoken. That is in no way related to any of those other categories.
