ATL is way more densely treed that that......................
I don't know how you can get "way more densely treed" than nearly 100% canopy coverage in the lowrise neighbourhoods, but post some pictures to prove it.
Does Atlanta have 200% canopy coverage (which is impossible)? Those pictures I showed show nearly a full canopy as soon as you leave the highrise neighbourhoods. You can't get more than 100%

Here's a video showing how densely forested Atlanta is.
Sacramento calls itself "The city of trees" and boasts that it has the most trees per capita of any city in the world. I don't know about Atlanta or Raleigh though. But it is one of Sac's nicknames, along with The River City and The Big Tomato.
Raleigh is often called "A park with a city in it". Like the other cities in the Southeast Piedmont, it's covered with trees. Additionally, Raleigh has an extensive greenway that criss-crosses the city and connects its parks to neighborhoods and other parks. Also within the city limits is Umstead State Park with its 5500+ acres of trees.
In 1996, a hurricane hit Raleigh and the cleanup from felled trees took a solid year of intense work. When they were done hauling and chopping, it was hard to remember where the trees were missing because there are just so many others. This is typical for the landscape of the Southeast Atlantic.

This video makes ATL look nice, I couldn't help but to notice how spread apart downtown looks though, I might be wrong
