Although I'm partial to Texas BBQ, I enjoy all of the other regional variations as well! St. Louis and Nashville don't seem that notable though, the article says they just kind of borrow from the other styles...although I'm sure great BBQ can be found in those cities too.

Yes, Nashville from Memphis style, and St Louis a blend of K.C. & Memphis. The St. Louis Rib is of course the longer end of the whole bone minus the baby back rib. It's actually what the notable dry rub Memphis rib joint Rendezvous uses for its popular entree.
I can believe Memphis is number one. Best BBQ Ive ever had was in Memphis.
