A quick Yahoo search states that NYC has the most bridges of any US city: over 2000. It makes perfect sense to me that NYC has the most, since it's a city that extends from the mainland to three major islands. BTW, the same search says that Pittsburgh has 446 bridges. Not sure if these figures are valid, though.
yea i asked this because i drove to upstate new york today and went through new jersey and noticed that manhattan alone is filled with bridges. theirs so many bridges alone that go from manhattan to the bronx, and the 3 bridges that go to brooklyn as well.
