Looks like a Shake Shack in the image

Looks similar to the Village at Valley Forge being built next to the largest Retail Mall (sq footage wise) in the country and heavy rail coming to KOP

Interesting. Just announced that there will be a 530,000 sq foot upscale "fashion outlet" going up near O'Hare airport with stores like Gucci, Prada, Brunello Cucinelli, Giorgio Armani, etc

Geez, people are now posting strip malls in random suburbs and discount outlet malls.

How is an outlet mall "upscale"? Outlets are, by definition, clearance-priced discounters.

I think this thread is for places like Madison Ave, Rodeo Drive, etc., not strip malls in suburban Atlanta and outlet centers near O'Hare.

Settle down sparky. I posted it as "interesting news" since most of the tenants are upscale by nature (and if you want to see real upscale ****, you look at the other 21.25 pages of content before it). Don't get your panties in a bunch over something so small.

You have a right to your opinion if you think the Buckhead development is a strip mall in the suburbs

Well, it is a suburban strip mall. Granted, it seems like it will have many upscale stores, but it's still a suburban strip mall.

BUCKHEAD Atlanta

Check out the site plans and address. The correct info is on the site. It's up to you to believe what you choose to believe. It's not a strip mall and its nowhere near the suburbs

its kind of in between city and burbs, how much of Buckhead has always felt to me

Not quite the same as MI Ave, or 5th Ave, or Union Sq in SF, but not really totally MOA or KOP either

Looks like some nice infill for Buckhead which can use more pedestrian friendly continuity and already has MARTA

That said Buckhead is kind of an upscale shopping destination as would be Tysons in VA or KOP in Philly etc. They come in different forms

I know Buckhead, and, yes, Buckhead is definitely suburban.

This is the area by Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza malls, right? If that isn't suburban, I don't know what is.

And the pics you posted show a strip mall. Maybe the pics are inaccurate, but the pics show regular strip mall shopping with parking lots.
