It has been reported that North Korea is conducting underground Nuclear Testing with the ultimate goal of having the ability to strike the American West Coast.

If the unthinkable happens and they succeeded,..which city would be most in danger.

Criteria:

Location: Shortest distance

Size: Would they go after a big obvious target probably laced with defenses like LA..or a smaller unexpected target less defended for example Portland

Stategic Importance: An Economic Target, Military Target, Gateway or major Transportation hub etc

Strategic Assets ..for example San Diego is home to a massive Naval Base

Most vulnerable to a Surprise attack

Maybe Honolulu? Though odds are they'd just end up hitting the water...

It's all just posturing though...North Korea's regime just does this to save face in any negotiations with South Korea or the West. They're stupid but not dumb enough to actually launch a missile against the US when that would basically result in Pyongyang turned into a glass parking lot and the end of the Kim family kleptocracy...

There is absolutely zero chance that North Koreans could deliver even a hand grenade to any US territory, except by Fed Ex. Nor, has North Korea ever indicated in any other way that they have any intention of attacking any country on the planet.

SF's destruction would be devastating. It's an American architectural and urban gem.

If LA were destroyed... urban planners could build a much nicer city. If it weren't for people getting hurt, it would be a pretty good idea!

Yeah but I had all these life plans and I didn't include "dying by a North Korean nuke" in them. I hope they take that into consideration

Also, there is more than one way to deliver nuclear material that doesn't cost nearly as much nor take as much know how as an ICBM. This is all just posturing by the regime. I don't think its aimed at the West per se as much as it aimed toward China, their "undying" friends. I'd be more worried if I was the PLA than if I were American military.

What a trolling POS comment. Gee, I wonder where you're originally from (sarcasm).
