I like them both. It's a bit of a heavyweight-middleweight fight, though, the Philadelphia MSA has 6 million people, the Portland MSA 2.2 million. I think Portland "punches above its weight" in many respects, but an area that's three times as big is bound to have more to do.

Portland gave Philly a great left uppercut knockout to the chin. You go, Portland!

That has yet to happen. I do believe that since Philly has been one of the most dangerous cities for a long time. Poor sport!

I'd pick Portland since it's one of the best cities constantly, not the worst cities or the crappiest city, according to Tawainese illustrator last year. It's on video. Philly just been nominated as the 6th worst performing city. I'd rather be in the best cities like Portland, Seattle and Boston.

Was this a specific Taiwanese illustrator or do they all feel that way about Portland?

Oh, wait I know that guy--you mean Chen Li? Yeah, he really likes it here...

My understanding is that its all Taiwanese. They like Portland and also an afinity toward Foo fighters, sometimes they combine them and call it Foo Cities

I know a Taiwanese girl who lives in California. She really liked Philly.

Is that what we're doing here?

I went to a fairly good Taiwanese Chinese restaurant in Boston. Just thought I throw that out there as well.

Wait, was he talking about "Taiwanese Illustrator Magazine"? Oh, that changes everything...
