The obvious are NYC and Miami, THEN everyone else... But among the everyone else, which cities seem to do Caribbean best?

Few judging tips...

If the city you choose doesn't even have a Caribbean Carnival parade, probably not a winner...
If the city you think of only does one culture, not the mix of different cultures, probably not a winner...

I want to hear y'all opinions.

Other places in Florida? haha...there are other cities with a sizable Caribbean population, but it might not necessarily be VIBRANT. Toronto has a Carnival celebration FWIW and Chicago has an "African Caribbean Festival."

Orlando has a huge Caribbean population too. Primarily from Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Haiti.

Even though its not an American City I'll have to go with Toronto. By Far.

Others would be like Boston, Philadelphia, and D.C.,

I'd be interested to find out how vibrant the places outside of Miami and NYC are for this. Chicago has a sizable Jamaican population too, but I don't think the scene is that vibrant...if it is, it's definitely an underground thing.

I'm still pissed that only one place in town I've found so far has west indies chicken roti.

Atlanta
ACCBA - Homepage

DC
Baltimore/Washington One Caribbean Carnival

Tampa (I wasn't aware that Tampa had a Carnival, or even a vibrant Carib population. It's assumed by it being Florida, but I never imagined it comparable to cities like some of the others listed).
Tampa Caribbean Festival, Inc. presents the 7th annual Tampa Caribbean Festival

Toronto is the strongest number two. After that NYC.

Others that have strong ones are Boston, DC, Philly, and Atlanta.
