The British government commissioned a study
which revealed the most easily recognizable attractions to respondents around the world.

Looks like plenty of folks are aware of the CN Tower. Edinburgh Castle tho? really?

There are numerous posts in here that have detailed some iconic and famous structures and landmarks.. Additionally the thread is about global destination cities and it is undeniable that Toronto does have Global events and attractions - there are links that show this and if you did any type of research you would understand that.. The fact is you don't and you simply flame the city with unnecessary rhetoric that it has no global attractions of any sort even when someone hands information to you on a platter showing the opposite...

The only thing I do agree with you is that some of the landmarks listed aren't global - but any valid argument in your posts is lost in your venom and clear desire to attack Toronto and Canada at large.

Well when people (not you) start naming a bunch random places in Toronto and pass it off as "iconic" I feel a need to bring them back to earth.

You may be right about the pyramids being enduring icons over the centuries, but these are the results of a survey done by one of the most well respected branding firms in the world. The British govt was trying to gage how Bug Ben stacked up against other landmarks.
