Umm, you forgot one of the best contenders of all... St. Louis.
I do feel that St. Louis Cardinals fans are the best fans in Major League Baseball. However, I also feel that St. Louis Rams fans are some of the worst fans in the NFL. So basically I left St. Louis off of this list because of how I feel about Rams fans.
Yeah but Philly has below average support for the Sixers. The rest are great.
Yeah agree though is a pretty good hoops town on the whole - just want a real NBA product which hasnt really existed in many years (well maybe a bit in 2011)
Philly is actually a decent soccer town and does well in some other sports (Track, Cycling, Rowing) as well.
From a pro standpoint though the Sixers are a step down from Football, Baseball, Hockey
The same Boston that wasnt selling out for the Bruins and Celtics just ~5 years ago? That one?
Philly supports their teams better than Boston does, whether theyre losing or winning. The only team they treat like Boston does with the Celtics/Bruins is the Sixers. Ive come across far more bandwagon fans in Boston than anywhere else. The real test is to see where these fans go in times of failure/lack of success.
Chicago is another one. Bears, Blackhawks (although they were non-existant prior to 2009 due to their former owner), and Cubs.
I put Chicago and Philly both over Boston. Especially Philly. The Phillies, Flyers and Eagles support can only be matched by the Red Sox and Patriots.
Lets see Boston's support when they stop winning championships. Thats the real litmus test other cities have already passed.
No St. Louis when talking about sports fans? LOLOLOLOL!!!!!
Aren't the Rams dead last in attendance? Or close to it? I mean, I saw a sea of empty seats for the home opener.
