For a city in Northeast? Yes. Overall, no.

Boston is like 20% Black, and an additional 20% Hispanic. There's a VERY noticeable West Indian Community, and a pretty large Hispanic community in Boston. Than there's a sizable Asian community as well. Can't forget the Portuguese community.

You're delusional. I worked in Arlington, Va and most of DC is govt money attracting mostly useless spending with a rare occasion creating something useful. Busy running everything....lol

I'll give you that the rest of the country elects the gang that is putting us in debt.

I'd be willing to bet that we are one of the biggest consumers of wheat bread in the nation.

I would move San Jose into the top spot....they're building the world's technology.

Let me guess...Fox News watcher.

The only real big money in DC metro tied to govt. is defense industry in northern VA. So I would call it defending the country.

The situation is very similar for the San Francisco/Bay Area and the Research Triangle of NC.
Also arguably the greatest concentration of renowned colleges and universities on the planet. And higher education is becoming bigger and bigger business so more and more people are part of that community.

**And Boston is a majority-minority city, to address other people's comments.**
