Man. Missed the last one.

1. New York City
4. Minneapolis/St. Paul

6. Portland
2. Miami/Ft. Lauderdale

1. Los Angeles
4. Seattle

3. Boston
2. Washington DC

1. Chicago
5. St. Louis

14. Honolulu
2. Philadelphia
------------------------------------------
9. Nashville
12. New Orleans
--------------------
6. Denver
2. Houston

I struggled with LA and Seattle. I love the trees and feel of Seattle and I never been there. But LA was too great to pass up. DC and Boston was also a struggle. Perhaps if this was living there, I would have voted DC. But Boston slightly beats DC in character.

Next:Living There.

Are people really picking Honolulu over Philadelphia for character? Lol. That's just a little baffling to me. If this category was beauty, I could see going with Honolulu all day long, but character?

Beauty

As a native Atlantan, I was pretty disappointed to see Atlanta hit the early exit. I do not know much about Portland, but I feel like Atlanta is underrated when it comes to food.

Yeah so am I. I've never been to Philly but it clearly has an old world, classic architecture, etc..type charm Honolulu severely lacks. The architecture/built environment in Honolulu is pretty bland to downright ugly in many instances. But I can see maybe people preferring it's "style" and "culture", which was part of the "character" category. I kind of based my vote strictly on built environment because I forgot what was included with character. I would take the style and culture of Honolulu over Philly.

I find it strange that Portland is killing Miami but LA is killing Seattle, I thought it would be closer. I feel like certain areas in LA have alot of character while others are all flash no substance. So it kinda evens out. The same kinda for Miami as alot of areas have a strong Caribbean influence.

Miami is actually ahead of Portland by a score of 11-6.
