nyricanpapi, you lived in the Bronx during the 80s, and so did your family--when did the crack epidemic begin in the Bronx?
It began in the 1970's it skyrocketed in the 1980s. You would see everybody outside using drugs and selling drugs. Everyday people would get robbed, crime was very high, etc..

Ok, tell that to Michael Jackson who thinks it was in the mid 80s.
not to hop all into yall conversation but Heroin was the epidemic in the 70s and crack took over in the early mid 80s and throughout the 90s....This isn't just NYC this most major cities USA
