Though Fort Worth is in a huge metro, if you were the put the city by itself it would probably be considered midsized. So here's a couple pics of the skyline since it's something you rarely (if ever) see in these neck of the woods.
I think the city could probably do better for its size, but it's still a nice little skyline, and it should be considered that downtown Fort Worth was hit by a twister in the year 2000.
Actually, Fort Worth is something like the 16th or 18th largest city in the USA with almost 700K in the city proper. But, many people do think it is smaller because of the size of the downtown.
Yeah. For one thing, Fort Worth is a big city. 17th largest, when I last checked. So it shouldn't be on this thread.
Austin shouldn't either because it's bigger than Ft. Worth, but since I already posted Austin twice, I'll post this third, final, and BETTER renderings of the future skyline. This is from Google Earth of course...
Why shouldn't Fort Worth or Austin be on this thread? This is for each metro size!
Oh, well in that case, thanks for thinking that Fort Worth's skyline is nice. We don't hear that much often. It'll get bigger, hopefully within the next decade. We're not building like Austin or Dallas.

lol, Yea I really like the feel of Fort Worth; the mid-sized skyline, the spread-out/laid-back feel is really great. I don't necesarilly think FTW should take the Austin or Dallas approach to build build build, I kind of like it right now. That's just me though.
I had to do that because either NYC or Chicago would always take that spot. Some people want to know what comes next after those two cities. Washington-Baltimore is the closest in population to Chicago but I remember height restrictions and a lack of skyline. Philadelphia is too far down to be able to compete--DFW is catching up, if not already, and soon Houston.
