Myrtle Beach wins, but Pigeon forge is close second. Pigeon forge reminds me of Myrtle Beach in the mountains
Myrtle Beach wins this one. That entire place is one big tourist trap and I have no desire to go back. Cherry Grove Beach and North Myrtle Beach are my kind of places.
Prayers for Gatlinburg. The town has pretty much burned down over the last few days due to the horrible wildfires that have ravaged eastern TN and western NC. So heartbreaking.
No, it has not burned down. There has been destruction but main street and many of the tourist attractions are still there. Including the aquarium and the ski lodge. Lot of sensationalized reports early this morning.
Dirty Myrtle all day long. More diverse options than the other two. Plus: 50 miles of beach.
I could never, ever live Myrtle Beach, but its a really fun place to spend one summer week every year.
