All these cities seem to be on the same level from a City-Data perspective. [LEFT]

Which of these cities is the best in terms of livability, entertainment, climate, location, culture, amenities, etc. etc?

Where do you get the idea that these cities are on the same level as Toronto? Those other 3 are very small, minor cities. I voted Toronto and it's not even close, and you don't even have to visit any of these places to know that. Honestly, this is kind of an odd comparison

I've been to all of the. Except Providence.

Duluth and Colorado Springs have their charms....

Bug I'm going with Toronto, it has a bit more to offer.

I'm assuming you mean Toronto, Ontario.

I seem to recall there is a Toronto, West Virginia,
up in the WV panhandle near where OH-PA and WV meet.

Is this thread like a passive-aggressive thing based on a sentiment that Toronto isn't getting enough respect in other comparative threads here?

Haha. I think you're right. I didn't realize OPs location at first, along with the whole "CD perspective" thing . I thought it was an odd comparison to begin with. That's exactly what this is.

I know this thread is a joke to prove a point, but it's actually kind of a poorly constructed joke because Toronto doesn't win in all the listed categories. It is, for example, in third place in climate, trailing only Duluth -- I'd say Colorado Springs wins that one. And location, gotta give that one to Providence, being as it is only 45 minutes from Boston and about three hours from New York City, while Toronto's equivalents would be Buffalo and Detroit, which I don't think anyone would argue are better destinations. If location means natural setting, Toronto loses there, too, possibly even finishing last. I suppose livability is arguable as well, as cost of living is an important component of that and Toronto's real estate, at least, is far and away more highly valued than the others.

So OP, I suggest trying again with better cherry-picked categories.

You guys are geniuses. Nothing gets past you.

And no boulevardofdef - it goes deeper than that. I'll explain when I get enough sample data.

I voted Toronto but only hesitantly as I was thinking maybe there was another Toronto somewhere in the US as there is a Toronto in NSW Australia.

If you mean the Toronto in Canada, this is beyond absurd.
