I don’t think Pittsburgh needs any introduction as far as scenery goes, but with Roanoke being set near the Blue Ridge Mountains, it’s tough to argue that these are two beautiful eastern cities.
Which would you consider to be the more naturally beautiful metro area?
I think Pgh is more scenic overall when nature and the built environment are considered, but as far as just natural scenery, Pittsburgh is beautiful, but Roanoke is bueatifuller. The Allegheny Plateau is no comparison to the Blue Ridge in my opinion.
