People think of SA as being Little Mexico but in fact the culture is very American. It just so happens that a majority of the population is of Hispanic extraction. Though the real edge here comes from it being the most Catholic city on the list.

Yes it's mostly Mexican American's who are 3rd generation or further back. So while the city isn't very foreign feeling, Mexican culture has been in the city since the very beginning. TexMex culture is the norm there. Similar to Italian American culture in NYC, Philly and Chicago.
