I believe the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States is the most audacious intelligence operation of all time. By suborning and then electing Trump and most of his closest "advisors" the Russians placed their agent in the presidency. Brilliant!
In addition the Russian intelligence services nearly elected their agents in much of the rest of Europe. They were successful in removing Great Britain from the EU. That is another very successful operation.
We would do well if we paid very serious attention to Russian intelligence. They are dedicated to weakening the Non Russian world and will use any method that works.
