I would never want to live anywhere that doesn't have 4-seasons. But no extremes!

It's also one of the gulf states and subject to hurricanes. But the with the size of TX, one part is probably much different from another.

I don't think there is a perfect place, each has its positives and negatives. But after living in Central Florida for over 30 years and only one (that's 1) year with hurricanes, I think I'll vote for us even though there are other states that I've loved while on vacation.

The poll left out the front range of the Rockies climate, from Montana to at least northern New Mexico. Very changeable weather, four seasons, sometimes all within 48 hrs or less, low humidity, crazy snowfall patterns from Sept to early June here in Colo and Wyo. It took years, but I got used to it and actually prefer it to any of the others.

The Northeast. There's nothing like a crisp autumn morning in Upstate New York and New England during Thanksgiving watching a football game, or a 3-inch snowfall on Christmas day while running the fireplace, or a Sunday barbecue and playing catch, or a spring morning getting ready for a ball game. I love the class and yet gritty culture of the Northeast and I love our seasons.

I like SoCal weather a lot along the coast, it's is pretty much a comfortable temperature year round. Not always warm but not always cold either, pretty much no need to cool or heat your house. But I voted for Hawaii b/c I like warm, balmy weather more that never gets cold or too hot.

California

i mean come on...no awful humidity(something alot of people just cannot grasp )

sunshine almost every day

christmas in the 70's

no prolonged periods of dreary depressing weather

life doesnt "slow down" here in the winter like the east/midwest

people that say "i prefer my 4 seasons" only say that because they dont know any better and havent experienced a good chunk of their life in our state
