Thanks ahead of time for the votes and replies!!!
Culture: New York, San Francisco, Chicago.

Art scene: New York, Chicago, San Francisco.

Nightlife: New York, Chicago, San Francisco. New York's night life/social scene is so much better and glamorous unlike Chicago or SF.

Food: New York, San Francisco, Chicago.

Quality of life; IF YOU'RE WEALTHY: New York, San Francisco, Chicago. Nothing tops being wealthy in Manhattan, IMO. It's fabulous and like an adult Disney World. Quality of life If you aren't wealthy: Chicago, SF, NYC.

So overall; (1) New York City (2) San Francisco (3) Chicago.

You got it backwards.

Food in SF surpasses Chicago.

Quality of life in Chicago surpasses SF. (less crowded, better for families)

Id have to say Chicago is not in the same league as NYC or San Francisco, except for quality of life..

Food and culture are way better in SF than Chicago, thats not even close.

Best quality of life is Chicago

SF is not in the same league as the other 2, not in the top 5 in any of those categories. LA and DC are far ahead as well as 1 or 2 others

SFs nightlife is actually very good, tons of dense bar districts. Definitely top 5 in the country. The big downfall is that bars close at 2 am. In Chicago, you can find a bar to drink at until 4. Thats a huge plus and puts it past SF.
