Aside from New York, Id say the pace of most West Coast Cities is the same as East Coast Cities. Dont see much of a difference.

San Francisco or Los Angeles. If ask me, actually...the three fastest paced are unquestionably San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, and actually San Diego too. It seems to me like the entire West Coast, especially in the major cities, is as fast-paced as the Bos-Wash corridor/Northeast.

I never understood the "fast paced" thing. Do they run to the grocery store instead of walk? Do people talk faster? Do people get older quicker?

I've done a lot of traveling in my short life and I do not notice pace differences from city to city.

It means they always have places to be so that people will see them there and think they're cool. Very scientific stuff.

Oh ok, that makes sense. It's the "d-bag thing".

LA is handsdown the fastest paced city on the west coast. The sheer velocity of the place makes it humm fasterr. The gargantuine and crowded freeways and traffic alone in LA is on a scale San Francisco and Seattle do not even come close to. Plus all the trendy people, look at me, look at my hot car vibe of the place brings it up a notch in that category.
