"It goes both ways"
Yeah, that was my point, you were the one to first use that line. You haven't shown that Denver is a more unique city. Besides being cheaper, what positively differentiates Denver from LA, San Diego, the Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, or maybe even Salt Lake City?
Denver is barely cheaper. Avaerage rent in Denver is 1300 for a 1 bedroom. I've even seen higher. When I lived in LA, prices were very comparable. Difference is you can get a nicer place in Denver for the same money you spend in LA.
I've heard of those neighborhoods. I don't disagree with what you said. Right now, Denver is ahead in the urbanity department. The differences were probably more noticeable in 2009 than today.
True. In 2009, Denver wasn't anywhere near the city it is today.
Lol! That's a first. Not saying Denver's isn't strong, but stronger than Dallas's?
Colorado has the number one economy in the states right now. Look it up. Denvers economy is at the top. And we have the lowest unemployment rate in the U.S

A three hundred dollar difference per month on average, or median here, is not what most consider very comparable. That gap is twice as wide as the difference between Denver and Dallas.
Of course you've even seen higher, that's how averages work.

You're talking to someone who's lived in so cal. And like I said Denver is cheaper but not by much. Someone just wouldn't get up and move to Denver because it's cheaper. Unless you're living in Beverly Hills or the really wealthy west side, then it's pretty comparable.

The reason Denver is growing is because it's cheaper than the CA major metros. Most of the influx to Denver has been from CA people trying to get away from the high cost of living. If they were the same price, then there would be no reason to move to Denver since LA and SF do almost everything better than Denver and then some.
No comparison: Denver got this one over Dallas- a good downtown, stronger economy and more recreation
For sure.
More recreation....Rockies nearby. Like Denver's climate much better too.
