Definitely Chicago. I actually dislike Illinois quite a bit, I would never say I'm from Illinois, only that I grew up in Iowa and I live in Chicago.

Well the state of NJ of course. But a lot people tend to choose a region of Jersey to have pride for. Since there's so many towns and cities in NJ that are small by land size, that it's a choice between south or north jersey.

Hackensack on the other hand gets a bad rap to surrounding towns and cities, but i am proud to live here because it is diverse in ethnic makeup, build, and landscape.

I used to think that way but after visting some of the state, I have more pride in our state. It's large (for a northeast state) and diverse in its regions. I'd definitely consider Pittsburgh if I ever left Philadelphia. Philly first, Pennsylvania second. We're opposite of Tampa, the state's conservatives keep us from self destructing like NJ.

I really, really like my city(Charlotte), but LOVE my state (NC). I believe it to be one of the most naturally diverse and beautiful in the country.

Im proud of the whole state of New Jersey. From north to south there is something for everyone, an impressive state for its size.

State. I'm proud of MA. We are progressive on social issues, health care, and we have great sports teams!
