Would you guys please stop counting spires and poles as part of a buildings height when we are comparing the skylines.

I actually love this view of dt LA. It still doesn't show the entire skyline though.

I love how Philly is filling the gap along Market West between the current skyline and the new skyscrapers going up in University City. There will always be an appreciable gap because of the Schuylkill River, but from angles like the one above, it'll look like one continuous skyline.
