imarvin, i noticed you mentioned sydney as one of your favorites, which was listed in a particular group of cities. consequently, your choice of sydney made me think how impressed i was when i visited melbourne and perth. i was really surprised at their beauty, and, as i really studied the usual "hands down" reaction to sydney, i realized it was really the opera house that one really sees so prominently in the city skyline, not the city as a whole. that being said, imo, i really think melbourne has the nicest skyline of the three. it is a bit sad that Australia is so far away, and i know so little about it.
