Hands down San Diego.

Dallas is my second favorite Texas city after Austin, and I really like the vibe it has to offer, but I just like the beaches of San Diego and the weather and feel more. I think it is a tad bit more vibrant as well, though Dallas has a bit more of a unique vibe than San Diego does in terms of it being in Texas.

San Diego for me by a long shot.

The census doesn't measure "attractiveness". It measures population and demographics.

Isn't BYU vs Oklahoma also being played there in the new TX stadium as well?

This is a tough choice as I love both cities. I guess I would choose Dallas right now due to Texas being much stronger economically

Honestly I have yet to meet someone in the city of Dallas with a country accent. Same goes with Houston. Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio are different stories.

Well, by voting record thats definately true. Socially, I would say Austin is, but that Dallas would probably be #2 on that list. Also if we look at voting records by MSA, the DFW metroplex is #3 in Texas after El Paso and Austin.

But then again by voting record as a city (not MSA), Dallas has a more liberal voting record than either San Diego or Los Angeles.
