Maybe it is because Boston is known more for the Irish.

Agreed. But don't worry.. People atleast know that Boston has a great Little Italy.

People don't even think Cleveland has italians. I seriously need to leave this website, I get stupider as the day goes on.

Did someone vote for Cleveland. I'm sure if they have many Italians but I like the city anyway.

Cleveland metro has the 8th largest Italian population... Little Italy AKA Murray Hill is pretty well known.

I still don't understand how people on C-D literally know NOTHING about Cleveland... but act like they are experts on the city.

It was a joke and meant to say 'I'm not sure"

The northeast definitely has the most Italian ethnicity.

FYI to all you fools making Pizza Hut comments about Cleveland, it has the 8th largest Italian population in the country.

cleveland.com:

As already mentioned the North End should be on this list. Also, I would think the La Boca would be very authentic considering Argentina's largest ethnicity is Italian.

San Diego's Little Italy should not be on this list. Chicago's is not that great either.
The national average is at 6%;
Cleveland is at 9% Italian by metro....it's a flipping joke, let it go. The point is that Northeastern cities like Pittsburgh, Providence and Boston were not even mentioned while having nearly double that percentage; and in Boston's case, having nearly 3 times the number of Italians as Cleveland.
