This was an idea we came up with in a New York City thread last spring. I have been of the (humble) opinion that Chicago has everything that New York City has--and I bet I can prove it.

I want to see if I can do this. So, you tell me something that NYC has, and I will attempt to name for you the Chicago equivalent.

Any takers?

New York City has an aerial tramway (similar to the ones that go up mountains) that connects Manhattan and Roosevelt Island, is there one in Chicago?

I don't think this is what the OP was going for.

If that was the case why don't you just say...NYC taxis...the 7 line...Times Square...

See how easy that is?

I think he was more or less going for things that an urban enviroment offers. Ex. Subways, theatre, dining options, etc.

I'm not sure if this would count but there are boats that take you along the river and out into lake Michigan.

Unlike NY though, the city is not on an island so the "ferries" just take you to other parts of Chicago.

Does Chicago have those Ducks (Boat mixed with a Bus) that tour around the city and in the water?
