Yes, for its population, Bellevue is impressive. However, it is surrounded by a metro of 3+ million, so perhaps a little unfair. Nice pics as always, though pwright.

Chicago's skyline is huge for a city of 2.8 million.
I would also say Miami and Seattle.

City population have little to do with Skyline size...it's metro population and MANY other factors. Chicago built up because it had too. Rail lines cross through the city which made it impossible to build buildings that spanned 6 city blocks.

Anyway, why was this thread revived?

Atleast most of San Diego's residential skyscrapers are condos and lofts.. not time-shares and hotels.

Oakland has a big skyline for only having 300k
Oakland has over 400,000 city and 7.4 Million Metro

Bellevue Washington blows the doors off of San Jose and Oakland CA
and Seattle can go head to head with San Francisco anyday , it must
be something that they have in the water up in the PNW...........

Seattle Metro 3,000,000

San Francisco 7,400,000

now it's your prerogative to call it a part of a city if you want to.
