Atlanta has many locals that are national headliners my friend and more EDM events per month then any city it's tier except maybe Miami and Dallas. Houston is good but it doesn't beat or meet Atlanta in EDM.

The nightlife is more intense in Atlanta. Houston is a lot more laid back. Atlanta is more comparable to Dallas there.

In terms of music, both are mainly known for hip hop and rap. The stuff that comes from Atlanta is a lot more radio friendly, but I wouldn’t say it’s better. Atlanta does have more in the way of EDM, Rock, and Metal. Houston has more in the way of Latin forms of music and punk.

I personally prefer Houston but I definitely see appeal in Atlanta.
