A bit of trivia, Trenton, NJ is the only state capital located on a state boundary. It's located on the Delaware River, which is the border between NJ and Pennsylvania.
I'm confused, i thought by border, the op meant cultural border, not state border

I'm surprised that so many consider Louisville to be southeast (I don't) and Cincinatti not - I consider both to be midwest. Louisville is further west down the Ohio River than the Nati'.

Don't think anyone mentioned Savannah, GA which carries over into SC as it shares a metro w/Hilton Head.

It appears you're right. I want my money back for that nickel tour of the Capitol complex in Trenton years ago.

Actually state borders, but for Louisville, Cincinnatti and the other cities in the poll (except Pitt. and Balt.), both.

For some reason, when I drove through El Paso to go to Phoenix a few years ago, I felt like there are thousands of people there that are unaccounted for. Like there's more people there than the official city population data says.

Am I the only who feels that way about El Paso?

it may be because lots of people from Juarez,Mexico and Southern NM come into El Paso everyday for work, shopping or family.

El Paso shares a border with Juarez and the nothern part of El Paso shares a border with some NM towns.

Right; in fact their airport is named 'Savannah-Hilton Head'.
Atlanta's CSA encompasses Chambers Co., AL.

Mmm, yeah, not so much. The Vancouver suburbs peter out well before the border. Also, much of the land through that area is unbuildable wetland.

I suspect that 10 mile area is not part of Cheyenne, but if there were to be a surge in population someday, Cheyenne could incorporate that land right to the Colorado boundary. But I think that's probably all BLM land as of today.

Thanks for the info!
