I pick Denver. Better weather, better outdoor setting, better views. Just an all around better town in my opinion.

I like Dallas, too though. Just not as much as Denver.

I'm sure Denver has nice qualities but its not in the same category as Dallas. Sorry little D, the Big D comes out on top.

I prefer Dallas. One reason being that Denver has an ugly dry landscape and Dallas is pretty green

Just for sake of discussion, where is Denver not in the same category as Dallas? Other than the fact that the Dallas-Ft Worth area is nearly twice as large, I think it's a fairly even comparison. Care to elaborate?

Anaheim yes, Oakland No. Oakland's not a suburb of San Francisco. It is it's own principal city.

But yes, you do have a point, doesn't matter where the team plays, it's still in the area. Both cities have great teams too.

I think you just answered your own question.

Maybe bigger is better to you, but some people look for greater depth of qualities that draw them to an area. Denver pretty much has everything Dallas-Ft Worth has. Geographically they are very different, so that opens up a whole area of debate based on someone's preferences. The question remains open.

Yeah but I wasn't talking about the team though.

Yeah I know what you meant too, and I do agree, having a location in the CBD area of any city has a lot of plus sides to it, and generally the view from the arenas and ball parks are some of the best.

But Dallas & Fort Worth run the metroplex, I can't imagine how Fort Worth residents would feel having to always drive to downtown Dallas for a game or two.

But yes, I know what you mean, and for 99% of the cases out there, I agree with you.

Bigger doesn't always equal better, but it's hard to compare a city of 6 million to a city of 3 million. As far as geography goes, they're not that different as both cities are located on the Great Plains. Dallas just receives a lot more precipitation.
