Expensive beyond means.
Rude.
Crowded.
Polluted.
Trashy.
Large percentage of the population who live and die there and never see other parts of the country.
Never want to live there myself (visiting is just fine). The quality of life unless you are rich is abysmal. Really sad.
NYC people think they are the center of the universe, and they are WRONG.
True for the most part but not all NYers are like that. Some were actually pretty nice but they talk and walk very fast like it's a race. Doesn't mean that they are rude and snobby. If you want to see rude people, come to DC.
Are you really from NYC? We do have nature in NYC... Have you been to the Bronx River?
One beaver and a few squirrels?
It may not be as polluted as it once was but The Bronx River is still in bad shape, it will need another good 10 years at least to maybe get the pollution to an acceptable level.
Not in NYC but not far from it. There's Xanadu, Idk if it's finished yet though.
NYC doesn't have certain fast food places such as Sonic & CiCi's.
both are garbage but at least sonic has decent drinks.
cici's is absolute unadulterated pure trash. i wouldn't even feed it to a stray dog.

you get what you pay for.
actually visit ny so you can see how wrong you are about us being rude.
depends on the area, but yes, parts of nyc are very crowded.
pollution isn't that big of a deal. strives have been made to clean up the pollution. any major city deals with it and is trying to fix the issue.
nyc is very clean for a city this large.
large percentage of the population who travel. you have never stepped foot in ny in your life. stop believing what you heard.
in a city full of immigrants and sons/daughters of immigrants, no one travels?
lol @ that foolishness. turn off the tv.

nyc off the top has:
hawks
eagles
swans
ducks
squirrels
etc.
i'd look it up but i don't feel like it. google it.
It doesn't have the Chicago Blues, or real deep dish pizza. They also don't have salmon burgers. Or a baseball team that earns its reputation for the price paid.
They also don't have SPECTACULAR mountain views and hiking trails on them within 30 minutes of the city core.
So, NYC is a great place, no doubt. But it isn't home.
Other than the photos of the whales, those are not nature photos, they are photos of a landscaped park crowded with people. NYC doesn't have nature like a lot of the rest of the nation. But really who cares about that one aspect. You seem obsessed with proving that NYC has a lot of nature when it doesn't. I have never met one person who was going to visit NYC that was going for the "nature experience". There are a multitude of reasons for visiting and living in NYC, nature is not one of them.
Also when you are posting photos you didn't take, you need to at least give the proper credit for them and make sure they are not copyrighted.

so because ppl don't go to nyc for the nature that means that we don't have nature??
woooooooooooooow.
you obviously have never been to nyc in your life tho, or if you went you never left manhattan. you don't know what you're talking about.
you're fully aware that the ny that you see on tv is just a small area of one borough, correct??
