Are some of those homes multi-family homes???

That's how it is in Houston's inner city ghettos with big houses. Lots of college students and families rent out rooms in the houses.

3rd Ward Houston is a perfect example of what you guys are talking about:

Some of them are multi-family, some are single family as well.

Sort of like a retirement home(or cemetary) for victorians...

lol rly? Figures... there's still a lot of victorians in east oakland from Fruitvale to the lake though

Lol yeah, everybody has this idea that everything in the city is super urban. There are plenty of single homes.

People always picture New York City looking like this:

Or this:

They don't realize there are neighborhoods that look like this:

All pictures taken in New York City .

All of those pictures were taken in the city of New York. You have to remember, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island are all boroughs of New York as well as Manhattan. So you can have a single family home in the city just like you can have skyscrapers and rowhomes etc. Most people think of the "actual city" as being Manhattan, but all of the other boroughs are still apart of New York City.
