all of this is good to know...With me having been away for 10 years, I'm litterally on count down until I get there, lol....I have grown to appreciate cleveland more and more knowing that there is sooo much more to do for my children...When I get back, there will be 3 weddings in my family, a family reunion, and trip to Cedar Point,lol...

I lived in Pittsburgh for a few years and couldn't wait to come back. I missed the lake and the snow so badly!

Although the cities are very similar, Pittsburgh just seemed to be run-down no matter where I went. I didn't have many restaurants I liked there, never found many good places to see bands play, and I'm not into sports, so the psychotic Pittsburgh sports fans really creeped me out. Oh, and there's none of that "yinz" stuff going on here!

Those were just my feelings, though. Another thing is that my family is in Cleveland, so that was pretty important. By the end of my Pittsburgh stay, I couldn't wait to get back home!

I really, REALLY miss the diversity of the food in Cleveland! I am serious! You just don't realize how good it is until you move to Durham. Ugh. I can't wait to take my kids to Cedar Pointe, West Side Market, Metroparks, Cleveland Museum of Art, and just some of the places I remember from living there from birth to 27 years.

Yep. I got a heavy dose of this stuff when I was a kid, and I'm better for it. I don't know if I'm better for all the delicious pizza, sausage, shawarma, gyros, and corned beef I ate growing up in Cleveland, but it sure tasted good.

Happily, I have four sisters who still live in Cleveland, so lots of excuses to visit!!
See you all in five years or so, hopefully!!!!
Wow, I am shocked that you would think the schools in the Raleigh Durham area are bad? Maybe Durham, but I hear the schools in the suburbs are great such as Chapel Hill and Cary? Please elaborate.
