Does anyone have any logical solutions for Cleveland's crime problem?

This uptick in crime is most likely due to the heroin epidemic. The same thing happened during the crack epidemic as well. I can almost guarantee that most of the recent violence is due to the drug trade.

Not sure if just me but seems lately there has been killings every day in Cleveland. I wonder if Cleveland is on pace with Chicago killings if you factor in per capita?

Killings and gun violence are up.
Current per capita homicide rate: 88 homicides ytd ÷ 390,000 city population = 22.5 homicides per 100,000 people.

Seems as if it's true everywhere, not just one city.

Repeal stupid drug laws. Crime will go down everywhere, not just Cleveland.

Unfortunately Cleveland will have no trouble making the top 10 deadliest city list based on per capita homicides.
Maybe we need the national guard to help Cleveland, Milwaukee, Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis, Memphis, Oakland, etc..
