Meigs Field is adjacent to the second largest urban core in the country, and even so is still underwhelming as a park. If Burke were leveled in the same manner tomorrow it wouldn't amount to much for decades. While I agree Burke should be utilized for something else I think Cleveland has better areas to concentrate on for redevelopment. Also, based on what I've seen with Meigs Field, I hope when the time comes for Burke to become something else it would incorporate both parkland and residential development.
