I'm not sure what weekend/days you're going to be coming, but the June 13 tribe game is going to be packed since rookie phenom Stephen Strasburg will be pitching against us. Just a thought...

Cool...that's the game I was planning on attending! I gotta cheer on my fellow San Diegan.......sorry, Indians fans

Can anyone tell me where the best seats are for under $25? Given the hype, it's probably best to buy the tickets beforehand and not risk standing in long lines at the stadium.

Probably upper box ($22)...the upper lever directly above home plate...or a bleacher seat ($16)...although with that one you'd have your back to the scoreboard.

Oh one last suggestion! This weekend is "Parade the Circle" and University Circle and "Discover Gordon Square Arts District" Day....and apparently there will be a free shuttle connecting the two events.

Note the last bullet point on the event listing:

Best Seats under $25? Lower rows of the upper box seats from sections 550-558. The best value is definitely the view-boxes from sections 450-460. They go for $32. Sec. 453-456 put you right behind the plate only in the upper deck. They are great seats.

Progressive Field Seating Chart | indians.com: Ballpark

Definitely buy them online and print them. This game is going to be packed.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I had a great visit to Cleveland last week. I ended up doing many of things suggested in thread, which was quite helpful in keeping me busy.

Some of the highlights were eating at Tommy's in the Heights neigborhood, gawking at the beautiful homes in Coventry Village, Shaker Heights, etc. Walking around Little Italy was cool, too. Made it over to the West Side Market for some pad thai from the really friendly Cambodian owner. That's a great building.

Went to an Indians game and got to see Steven Strasburg pitch for the Nationals. He's pretty amazing. Only made it as far as the lobby of the Terminal City building, since the observation deck was closed. Being in there felt like I was time-warped into the the 40's or something. I imagined Lois Lane or Clark Kent to be walking by....lol.

Headed over to Tremont where had some really good ice cream at Tremont Scoops...yummy. Wandered around the Cleveland Art Museum, as well. Of course, there was the Rock N Roll Museum, which was fun and interesting at the same time. I managed to drive thru Bratenahl on my way out of town and saw some spectacular homes.

Like Detroit (where I had been, beforehand), I saw plenty of sketchy areas in and around Cleveland. So many beautiful structures seemed abandoned and left to rot. It amazed me how quickly the neighborhoods changed while driving down the street - from really nice to really bad.

Another observation I had was that there seemed to be little traffic on the roads while I was there. Granted, I was there during the weekday, but the city seemed to shut down after 9:00pm. While driving on the freeway at times, I felt like the only one on the road. And again, maybe it was just me, but I thought everyone drove so slow. No one was going over 60 on the freeways, it seemed.

Cleveland has definitely changed for the better since I was last there 15 years ago. Looking forward to another visit soon.
