We rode to Washington downtown and around the waterfront, it was beautiful. Do you enjoy your life there and is there stuff to do? Especially when you are not out on a boat.

Washington, DC has some pretty areas, but too much traffic and crime. I am, however, loving life in Wilmington.

Also referred to by North Carolinians as Little Washington. Wife and I also found it to be a very nice community. Very interested in hearing from residents as well...

I've always know it as Little Washington as well, but I did not want to offend the residents so I left this part out. Besides it looks like it may have grown up a little by now.

I live in Greenville, but I do LOVE Little Washington. It is one of the cutest little towns, plus I love the shopping and restaurants.

Good lord, I remember him from that kids' TV show in the 1960s! He was basically the "Clarabell the Clown" for the Eastern NC set! Didn't know anybody else remembered him! I remember he wore those huge sunglasses.

I like Washington as well...I've always felt that it was a place just waiting to truly be discovered. However, I do feel that New Bern is a little bit nicer.

Good restaurants in downtown Washington, too. Plus, a nice waterfront boardwalk to take a stroll or jog on.

Whitney Hobo wore the big glasses and had a hot dog sticking out of his hat, We went for my brother's birthday, we were easily and cheaply amused for birthdays back then.
