We will have an income between $45,000.-$60,000. I want to buy a house in a nice area with a good H.S. for my son and could use any and all advice possible. I live in NE right now however I did live in Jacksonville for 5 years and that is why I want to return to NC.

Topsail HS in Hampstead gets good ratings. There are new developments in Hampstead, and nice older ones like Olde Point with water access.

I second Hampstead. It's between Jacksonville and Wilmington for jobs, has an excellent school system boasting a new high school building that is beautiful. It's close to the beaches and has lots of sports leagues.
