Hi

I will be moving to Sneads Ferry in November.
I will probably be selling my condo in Florida furnished so will have to buy new.

Where should I concentrate on furniture stores, Jacksonville or Wilmington, Sneads Ferry is small so I am assuming not much in the way of furniture stores.

Thanks

Well, Sneads Ferry does have D's Interior Design, where you can order beach-themed furniture and window treatments. If you are moving in November, you probably can get an order filled before then from D's. I suggest calling them. The dollar stores also have small storage pieces and rocking chairs.

Otherwise, Jacksonville has Carriage House for good American-made classics, and a Rose Brothers. There is also WalMart and Target for what they carry.

There is also a DDT Outlet in Hampstead for beach-oriented things. You could probably get most things there if that's the style you want.

Wilmington has Mango Furniture for eclectic and beach-oriented things. Also, Ashley, Pottery Barn and Lazy-Boy. I'm not sure of your taste or budget, so you can find more stores in Wilmington using Google maps.

FWIW, we picked an extra bed from an online source and had it delivered before we moved in. I think you should also consider online sources.
