Hi,
How diverse is Wilmington ? Are there any indian communities or indians in Wilmington ? How diverse is the city ?
When i googled, i couldn't even find a Indian grocery store, that means my guess is not a lot of Indians/Asians ?

Thanks.
Define "diverse". Demographically, its 55% female, 45% male; 72% white, 18% black, almost 6% hispanic and a little over 1% asian. 6% of the population is foreign-born.
A little afraid these days for life and of discrimination
I understand your fear a little more. Do you have a job offer in Wilmington? Are you considering living there? Do you have other options?
There are very few people of Indian descent in the city, and there is little evidence of an "Indian community". The few Indians probably live in middle class areas surrounded by predominantly white neighbors.
The lesson of the Kansas shooting is to avoid drunks who might mistake you for Iranians or Arabs, or assume you are an illegal immigrant. There can be angry and irrational people anywhere.

I currently have a job offer in hand with a tech firm there .
Declined it verbally have to decline it formally as well .
Morrisville is 2 hours from Wilmington NC .
I do not have a lot of options at the moment but i am planning for future as well , in the sense if i this job gets over finding another job near by will be difficult .
Yes that is very true , most of us avoid drunks or any kind of confrontation with any one .
