We moved from the Crystal Coast in 2021 after fifteen years there. it changed a tremendous amount in the last few years and from what I hear from friends still there, it has changed even more with lots of people moving there. We loved living there but moved to be closer to grand children and to have a house with fewer steps since we are not getting younger. While we lived there I kayaked extensively on the White Oak River and regularly took my skiff out Bogue Inlet. I have a tremendous number of pictures that I am happy to share and I have written a lot about the area. If you need a question answered and it is an important one, I might be able to point you in the right direction. However, we live in the Piedmont five hours away so I can't drive over the Emerald Isle Bridge and take a picture for you. This is one of my favorite pictures of with Bogue Inlet Pier in the background. You can access many of the posts, pictures and albums from my Crystal Coast Life website.
