We had some pebbles in our breakfast at Dixie Grill.. can't believe my husband didn't break a tooth! The girl barely apologized, looked more annoyed that we told her about it. That's enough to make me never go back again. Food was alright, but the pebbles just confirmed my first thought on the place.. it just seemed dirty to me. No thanks! There's plenty of good food elsewhere.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Basics brunch!!!

I believe they were in a plate of home fries or an omelet, I don't remember exactly

definitely not a high-end place, and yes, it doesn't seem the most sanitary, but still kind of surprised you found pebbles, not surprised by their attitude. always seems like a bunch of college kids or artsy bohemian types running it, not that there's anything wrong with those types, but they probably thought you were making a big deal out of nothing
