They're in the drivers seat now-just teeing off on the qb-Bama38, LSU 17 with 2 minutes left.

I loved it when Saban jumped into AJ's arms. He was smiling then!

The Iron is starting to look very enticing.
Not sure that Auburn can hang with 'Bama but 400 plus yards rushing a game can make any team blink...

I didn't think LSU was set up well to win this game. Never been a big believer in Mettenberger, and I'm especially convinced now that he's got limited game. He has a great arm but he's never been reliable in terms of making big throws against the better defenses. It's easy to look like Philip Rivers against non-conference opponents, but he's been shaky at times in conference games, and even against some of the better non-conference opponents he's had some meltdowns.

I will say this. What I saw in LSU was a lot of inexperience, but I also saw a lot of talent on the lines. They're big and physical. They'll get better. My one concern is the secondary. They really could have used someone like a Morris Claiborne or Eric Reid, but that guy just doesn't exist in the secondary right now. Hope that next year will be a different story.

Congrats, Bama. Clearly the better team this year. Represent the SEC well.

To say today's loss to Auburn is the most devastating loss probably in Alabama history is an understatement. Bama just looked something similar to the way we played Miss St two weeks ago, especially on offense. The Bama defense gave up over 300 yds rushing, the most since the win over Georgia Southern in 2011. With this loss a shot at an SEC, BCS title are down the drain, and maybe even a trip to a BCS bowl.

You probably deserve a BCS but NC should be off the table if FSU and Ohio remain undefeated. Hell Auburn may even deserve a shot after tonight.

Must be a similar feeling I got when Auburn VS Oregon in the 2010 NC: That player got up and ran it to field goal range when we thought he was down...kicked the FG and we lost...I sat there stunned for over an hour. Finally went to bed, woke up, crawled into work, and survived. Life goes on. Time for someone else to get that crystal anyway.

Better keep an eye out for that nutball that killed those trees. They were joking about him on Espn Radio.
