After a less than spectacular showing at UTSA The
Mean Green have fired Seth Littrell.. Of Note is that they are also seeking a new AD as well.
I also found out that the salary is just south of $2 Mill a year, which is likely more than the entire operating budget of the school back when I went there.
They will have defensive coordinator Phil Bennett coaching against the Boise State Broncos in the Frisco Bowl. Which will likely be an even more lopsided game now, but who knows?
Possible Candidates include former Virginia Tech head coach Fuentes and TCU Offensive Coordinator Garrett Riley.
The Men Green also leave the C-USA Next season for the American Conference, which will include local rivals SMU as well as Tulsa, Temple, the Navy and USF
SO They need someone who can recruit, and I hate to say it, but with college football handouts allowed, the school needs to spend some money if they in fact want to build a program that will be competitive and not Bottom 10 fodder
That is what college football has become.
