In a hypothetical scenario, if you were given the opportunity, would you accept a full refund for your college tuition and all cost associated with it..ie tuition, books, supplies, room and board in exchange for giving up your degree?
I got a bachelor's in electrical engineering for $500/semester (which included books). My MS and MBA were paid by my employers. So, no way. I got the most for the least.
Given that the total cost (tuition/books) of both my degrees (BA/MD) was about $55k, no way in hell. Even if you add living expenses for all 9 years...no way in hell.
Could I keep everything I learned or do I have to forget it? Could I keep the money I made during my career? Can I keep the friends I met in college? Am I just giving up the paper? - because that, I don't need anymore.

Ask me again when I'm just about to retire.
It's not even remotely close in my case, I probably make more a year than my entire education would cost adjusted for inflation and excluding any scholarships etc.
