hi everyone! thank you for coming to my posts well i have a few questions and was hoping i could get some answers on here
i've recently decided to make the choice of going back to school, i've been to college before community college to be exact but never actually completed a semester due to struggling with bipolar disorder and depression, but now i'm determined to go back to school and accomplish all of my goals.
my big plan is to attend a community college here in new york city with hopes of doing extremely well so i could transfer to stony brook uni once i have the right amount of credits.
does anyone have any tips/advice that would be very helpful for my situation? what is the exact gpa i need to have to transfer to stony brook? i would search this up myself but the website wont load up on my laptop. i plan on attending stony brook for nursing.
anything else i may need to know please dont hesitate to inform me
When I was in college (late 80s) people would nickname the place "Stoned Brook" (I think you can figure it from there), but in this decade it has become on one the premier SUNYs (it was always one of the "top 4" with Albany, Buffalo and Binghamton though) so admission is quite competitive from what I hear. Hopefully someone else can give more details on GPAs needed, etc.
