The only thing gripe I've got about CCs is that, if you go to one, please pick a CC that feels collegiate. There are some that feel like veritable feeders to 4 year colleges and others that are TOO exploratory, where a person you meet one term may not be there the next, and the demographics are all over the map, which is good but might be distracting. A highly reputed CC with good transfer agreements and high transfer rates are good deals. Those which feel too "loosy goosy" are not that great. As for Old Dominion, talk to them, and talk to the CCs that feed into it. Also, ask to find out the IT implications with a BSBA or a BSCS.
